Another Dakine Winner Back in the day I picked up a Dakine backpack at a thrift store. It had been through a fire, and it was melted in places, but I needed something cheap and it was there. Great for use as a carry-on! It is slim and narrow, allowing it to fit perfectly under the airline seat in front of you. I purchased this pack for a week-long trip of long-day sight-seeing and I used it as my airline carry-on. It was perfect. I was able to organize all my essential take-alongs, and I could still carry it comfortably. Because I am short (5’1″), I did not use the waist belt — the backpack had to be worn at its tightest fitting in order to fit between my head and my butt. But I expected that. Great for travel or everyday. I travel sometimes so i wanted something big enough but not too big and this is the bag. Has all the compartments i need for my computer and travel items. The pocket in the back is a great place to hide valuables because most people don’t know it’s there. The padded pockets with the microfiber is also good for sunglasses. When filled the bag does not bulge out like other bags which is what i was going for. It may not be for everyone and i did wish for a little bit more room but this is good…
