The board itself is very responsive with turns and cruises pretty quickly on its ABEC5 bearings So I didn’t know how to skate until I bought this board. I tried to learn as a kid on a penny board in the 80’s, then again as an adult on a $20 board from the toy store. As soon as I stepped on this skateboard I found my balance right away and skating just made sense to me.After two days of practicing I can now cruise around the streets and sidewalks no problem with this longboard. Great board for anyone wanting to learn longboarding First off, the deck is basically where the money is at here, but more importantly its the actual deck shape. I’ve never rode a longboard in my life until I purchased this board and it was perfect in helping me find my center of balance easily.
