I’m a beginner freerider and this is perfect for me. Got the small/medium, and at 5′ 7″ 140lbs these gloves fit loosely but fully useable. I can see the desire for thumb and finger pads as my first instinct was put my whole hand on the ground the first time I tried it (avoid) but with a slight technique adjustment these are perfectly fine, especially at the speeds I’m going at. I might upgrade to higher end gloves as I get better and faster, but for now these are perfect for the price…

These gloves actually saved my life. I screwed up and picked up too much speed while my trucks were still loose from another days excursion. Point of the story being I got death wobbles, wiped hard, these gloves are the only reason it wasn’t way worse.
