Traceable skateboard ramp plan halfpipe 4 foot tall 16 feet wide with extension
Since 1998, Whitefish Skate Ramp Company has been designing and building skateboard ramps using our life-size traceable template plans. This 4′ halfpipe is our most popular traceable template plan sold. When completed, the ramp is 16 feet wide and 29 feet long with 4 foot decks on both sides. This is the perfect ramp for a beginner skater who wants to learn how to drop in and then progress to every grind or rock and roll variation, ollies, blunts or even small airs. The 4′ halfpipe is too small for bmx to really enjoy but we’ve seen skateboarders who can barely drop in, progress to backside ollies over two panels within a few months and are not “bored” with its height. Don’t worry about outgrowing it; this ramp remains fun forever. The 5′ tall extension section of the ramp can be placed in whichever corner you would like. We have found that most regular footed skaters like it on the right side of the transition for airing up onto the extension (tricks like backside ollies to disaster, smiths or nose grinds). Goofy footed skaters would primarily want the extension on the left side of the wall. The one foot extension can be eliminated if desired (but you shouldn’t). This ramp is super fun! Absolutely perfect, flawless in every way. The coping set was perfect, just right so you can lock in on it but not too big that it was scary. The transitions were fast and forgiving. The surfacing was flawless, grippy and fast but won’t shred your skin when you fall. The ramp offered tons of room for progression, especially with the extension. Brendan gave me the rundown on how the traceable plan is designed and I have to say if you are looking to build a backyard halfpipe and want a guaranteed kick ass set up this is the way to go. This system totally takes the guess work out of it.” – Jason Forest

Built the halfpipe of my dreams.
I called the guys at Whitefish Skate Ramp Co. for some advice and they were super friendly on the phone and encouraged me to buy these ramp plans on Amazon. So glad I did! The plans provided a transition template that was really easy to trace and cut. And the materials and wood cut list probably saved me days of work – plus I didnât have much scrap when I was done. I ended up building my ramp using pressure treated wood because I live in the Seattle area and used GatorSkins (WA manufacturer)…
